We have a friend who was relocating. We wanted to make something meaningful, something which has a bit of meaning of each of us. This led us to combine Fidgety Fingers with Goosepimple Gem by knitting a scarf with our tee-shirts shredded and joined into yarn. We love the de-constructiveness of it. It is full of spunk. If you are thinking of making a 'FF-met-GG' scarf, we suggest using light-weight tee-shirts. The last thing you want is for the recipient to be carrying the weight of 3-4 tee-shirts around his or her neck.
