RESCUED BEAUTIES

We stumbled upon this very pretty photograph on a blog.

"Sometimes an inspiration can be found by the side of the road. I found these pretty flowers growing wild in our front yard. I grabbed a few Weck jars left-over from last summer's tomato confits, put a couple of flowers in each one and fill them with water. They became a simple and colorful flower arrangement for my dinner table."

Fidgety Fingers think that we can almost use almost wilted flowers from bouquets. They are so many times the stems of the flowers in a bouquet have turned so weak, they can hardly keep the flower up. Many of us usually keep trimming them till we cannot possibly prop them up anymore. However, this is a cool idea to keep those beauties in our homes a little while longer.
