Avocado isn't just for salads or guacamole. Try blending avocado with milk and gula melaka and you will be converted into having avocados for desserts.
All you need is a ripe avocado - pick one with a brownish skin versus a bright green skin. It should be soft at the top of the avocado. Just blend it with a little vanilla ice-cream and milk. You can also be more adventurous and add chocolate ice-cream. Then just boil gula melaka (palm sugar) with a bit of water to ensure the pot does not burn and it will become thick like syrup. Drizzle it on top of your avocado thickie which is kinda like an avocado milkshake and ta-da, you have a quick and yummy dessert for the night. We totally love it since it's not too sweet.
