A GUIDE TO BEING ROMANTIC : PART 2

WHISPER SWEET NOTHINGS
Sweet nothings are mushy but don't under-estimate the power of these words. Everyone loves a little boost of ego, a little encouragement. Sweet nothings help to boost that passion and makes someone feel appreciated and love.

THERE IS ROMANCE EVERYWHERE
There is no place to be romantic. Romance is everywhere, in every corner. If you are waiting for that moment or place to be romantic, you are definitely not on the right track. You make your own moment. If you are waiting for every element to fall in place, wait forever.

HOLD HANDS
We know people who do not hold hands, they feel that it is mushy and such display of affection should be left at home. Nee! Losers, listen up. Hands holding trace a long way back. Surely you all held hands with your mother or father when you were young. It is subtle way of saying, 'I love you', 'Don't worry, you are in my hands', 'You're safe', 'I will take care of you', 'I trust you', 'Let's go places together', 'I will not lose you'...

BED AND BREAKFAST
There is nothing like a kiss on the cheek on wake you up to a simple breakfast in bed, followed by a lazy late morning in bed, snoozing and watching the telly. A sure surge of oxytocins.

IT IS A DATE
Send surprising notes setting dates. Email your partner or send an sms to ask him or her to meet you at a certain place. Being together for a while does not mean that you have to settle in a routine. That is the big boo-boo of being in a relationship and it will ruin your romance. Romance should always be upkeep and kept fresh or if not refreshed every now and then. You should treat your partner like the both of you are in the beginning of a relationship. Don't lose the magic by slipping into a comfy, lazy routine.
