GROUNDED EGGSHELL FOR NUTRITION : FOR PLANTS AND ALSO FOR DOGS?

Eggshells can be put in your vegetable gardens. Some people have had problems in the past with blossom rot on their tomatoes. This can be due to a lack of calcium in the soil. You can save some eggshells and grind them up with your mortar and pestle, and sprinkle them around the roots when you put the tomatoes into the ground. This is also useful in giving nutrients to rosemary shrubs. Rosemary needs the soil to be slightly alkaline and hence grounded eggshells is a great organic material for it. Just sprinkle the eggshells on the top soil and water as usage. It also helps to keep away slugs and snails, killing 2 birds with 1 stone.

Do you also know that it is a dietary nutrition for dogs? Pet owners buy grounded eggshells and add it to their dog's meal as calcium supplement. Interesting.
