Earthship Biotecture, a New Mexico-based company that designs and builds sustainable housing, offers seminars in how to build off the grid. For a $400 tuition, you'll receive hands-on knowledge on how Earthship uses aluminum cans, or "little bricks," to build strong interior walls, as well as many other biotectural tactics.
