We came across an ad selling a houseboat that cost as much as a van. It is all yours with no extra cost.You only need to pay its monthly berthing fees and to maintain it (cleaning the bottom of the houseboat) every one or couple of years, depending which marina you are berthed at. (some marinas are more prone to barnacles for example). It is absolute cuteness! It is affordable too but is it practical? By the way, it has no engine, so to answer your question, no, you cannot drive it around. You can opt to install in engine though, but it can only travel in calm waters from one marina to another, never in open waters.
