We went escargot hunting a couple days back and caught 4 of them. Yes, you can eat those European species.
Read about them here. Thing is, these buggers poo a lot. It is such a hassle to clean the escargot tank everyday. Mr Washy was saying it seems impossible for us to catch enough of them for even an appetizer. Even if we do, we have to keep them and fatten them up. That means wasting more water to clean their tank than what is sustainable. So, it is goodbye Mr Snaileys.
