LIFE IS A JOURNEY, ARE YOU READY?

CONTROL YOUR MOOD, KEEP YOURSELF HAPPY BY EATING THE RIGHT FOOD

Chocolate is the most popular endorphin producing food. Know by the Greeks as the "food of the gods", chocolate is derived from cacao beans. The Aztecs believed eating chocolate would confer wisdom and vitality. Chocolate contains anandamide, a chemical that mimics marijuana's soothing effects on the brain. It also contains flavanoids (also found in wine) that have anti-oxidant properties and reduce cholesterol.

When the food endorphin level falls in our brain, it begins to signal us to take food. Or if we lose unwanted fat, certain endorphins are produced that gives us a high.

Food affects our brain chemicals. Stress makes us crave carbohydrates, anxiety makes us crave endorphins and lack of concentration makes us need protein. Endorphins postpone the aging process.

Nutritional and biochemical imbalances may increase the potential for substance abuse because alcohol and drugs give temporary relief from a depleted endorphin level which is one reason why they produce addiction (the use of vitamin and mineral supplements especially vitamin C, E, selenium and amino acids can help counterbalance this defiency.

There are many claims that a Choline Cocktail can boost orgasms. The cocktail stimulates related neurotransmitters tranforming choline into acetylcholine, the neurotransmitter associated with the libido. Thus the more orgasms you want, the more you should increase your intake of choline. Choline is found in beef liver and eggs as well in Brazil nuts, soy beans, fava beans, brewer's yeast, green leafy vegetables, peanut butter and sage. Choline is also found in lecithin.
Bananas and patatoes provide potassium. Nerves need potassium to tell muscles what to do, and muscles need it to do what they're told.
Capsalcin (chilies) releases endorphins (maybe that's why Mexican food is so addicting). They may also help to cure PMS.
Many nutritionists reccomend eating 7 almonds everyday because they are, among other things, good for the heart.
Garlic not only keeps vampires away, it, too is good for our health.
Oregano is an antioxidant. So is wine. And green tea.
