We had bits of leftover wool around and were not sure what to do with them. We stumbled upon an apple cozy crochet pattern and experimented with it. This little cozy helps to protect your fruit from bruises when you put it in your bag and travel to work. Mr Washy saw the apple cozy and went, 'oh, oh, can I have it?' He was disappointed to learn that the first apple cozy we made was for the big fuji apples. Anyway, knowing his wishy washy nature, we made him quite a few sizes to satisfy his cravings for apples of different sizes, along with plums, prunes, peaches...etc. You can find the pattern at Indigo Phial.
