Despite trying to be as organize as we can, we are also human in losing and misplacing things. It is irritating beyond belief! We are those sort who would not give up and then exhaust all corners and lose sleep over something almost insignificant. We recently misplaced a set of vouchers, lost sleep over them and as if by magic, found them today. We paused and looked at the edge of the table and thought they could have fallen off the edge when we were organizing the work table... TADA! Money saved, money found on what we thought we had lost.
- Retrace your steps. Where have you been? Where did you last see your things?
- Yes, look for them in the most convenient of places. Have you placed them in the drawers and forget about it? Take this time to throw away stuff and organize your drawers.
- In your bags? Take time to organize your bags, you will find those forgotten lipsticks too.
- Where else? Start to mentality prepare yourself the possibility that it might be gone, really gone.
- Think about it calmly, again, when you are not flustering. Did you put them on the table or on a shelf? This is the time to start looking in corners and perhaps move that table or shelf a little to see if they have dropped in that little slit when you were cleaning or organizing.
- By this time, it is either a TADA or not. Time to live with it. You might find it later, unexpectably but at least that would teach you to organize your things better.
