HOW TO REMOVE RUST FROM METALS : THE SECRET INGREDIENT IS ALKA SELTZER

So, Mr Washy bought the Tizio lamp and there was a bit of rust on it. OK, for less than a fifth of its original price from a stinking rich individual who kept this designer lamp in a garden shed, it is OK with some rust for us to clean. Mr Washy took a scouring pad and scrubbed it a little with undiluted rice vinegar and voila, clean of rust!

Nonetheless, we found this method of removing or polishing metals with Alka Seltzer. WOW!!! So amazing. We are totally going to do this for our jewellery.
