THE IKEA STOLMEN SERIES IS POSSIBLY THE MOST VERSATILE AND SPACE-MAXIMIZING SHELVING UNIT

We talked about shelf dividers for small apartments a while back. You can read more about it here. There are many diferent dividers but if we are looking at an affordable and accessible divider, it would have to be the IKEA shelf shown below.

One of the reasons why we are turning this shelf divider for our apartment in the dam is because we want versatility. When you have a small apartment, you have to make use of your space wisely. Most of these shelves offered are not more than 150cm tall. That really is not a lot if you ask us. We can make use of the top of the shelf for the odd house plant, but it is not exactly maximizing its potential if you ask us.

We came across the IKEA Stolmen series and thought it is probably the best solution for us. It is expandable and adjustable. It does not matter how tall your ceiling it, it can be adjusted to fit. You can add shelving units, or even drawers, mirrors, or racks...etc. What is better than that for a fickle owner or expanding family? Mr Washy should see its potential.
