We reckon it is time to use these herbs and vegetables of ours. Eversince we found that juicy caterpillar, we have found another 3. We are trying our best to spot any more but the best remedy is to make use of our greens. Trimming helps you to keep those buggers at bay.

We pan fried some chicken that has been marinating in the fridge for 2 days. The marinade is yummy. It is a blend of Chinese cooking wine, soy sauce and pepper. What more do you need? The taste of Chinese cooking wine is over yummy and overpowering, it makes the chicken.
We swear this is going to be good. Perhaps so good Mr Washy will be smiling when he eats them tomorrow. How is this not better than a Big Mac or a dodgy cafeteria sandwich? Rice paper roll with a layer of salad leaves, a bed of fresh herbs (mint, celery, parsley, basil), rice noodles with a dash of fish sauce, mustard mayonnaise, our fabulous chicken, more fresh herbs.
If this isn't a refreshing summer lunch, we don't know what else is.
