AUTUMN FLAVORS IN LOCAL PRODUCTS

The taste of autumn is sweet. No one ever told us about this. Yes, Mr Washy is a bit useless in this sense. All of a sudden, there are these 'new' products in the supermarket. We love our vla. It is a Dutch dessert, a dairy custardy thingy with all sorts of flavors.

'Herfst' is autumn in Dutch. It is just amazing how these people have specific tastes for the different seasons. We are seeing vla in the flavor of apple cinnamon and also poached pear. The apple cinnamon flavor wins by a mile.

There are also autumn beers! Can you believe it? They are made with the harvest from Summer. Roasted and brown, but sweet as they added caramel to the brewing. This is the equivalent of mulled wine for the English we reckon. If we had known about this earlier, we would have told our friends to try these unique and autumn-only products when they came to visit. We cannot wait for what is to come in winter. What are the tastes that will be introduced in the local products then? Move away Mr Washy, you cannot answer this question.
