Our good friend K sent us an attachment with some Xmas lightings in Singapore. It is all looking happening over there in the tropics and not so bright and clear over here in Amsterdam where it is actually snowing. No lights here, or very sad lighting in the city. It was snowing and will be again, but it is mostly slush with mud or if not, icy pavements. What a drag! Here are some pictures from her camera phone. Boy, do we miss civilization. OK, it is manmade we know, but when we compare the really advanced Singapore with the really behind Amsterdam, you will know what we mean.
