We wanted to try to minimize our trips to the supermarket this week. The icy pavements are menacing and we almost fell again, carrying all that grocery back home. We did our shopping on Monday and it seems that it is so far so good. We do not think we absolutely need to do a grocery run this week again, but we will to stock up some bits for the coming weeks. This is what we have been spreading out this week.
- MONDAY : Kung pao chicken with rice. Egg and bean sprouts on the side.
- TUESDAY : Pork and vegetable fried rice. Herbal chicken soup.
- WEDNESDAY : Hamburgers! With homemade burger buns, with grilled tomatoes, red onions, and homemade pickled cucumber.
- THURSDAY : Chicken stew with homemade breads and savory buns.
- FRIDAY : Definitely going to cook a pot of bolognese for Friday evening and Saturday lunch.
