We are not fans of salads. We are fans of blanched vegetables. Those crunchy leafs in uncooked salad is a bit too fussy for us. Being slow eaters, salads are a hassle.
This is how we prepared our ‘snack’ in the hotel room in one of our recent trips. All you need is the trusty kettle. Hot water blanched the peas and nothing simpler and more satisfying than blanched vegetables with soy sauce or in this case, nato beans. Well sometimes, we still love our meats and savory meals.
