DO YOU EVER WASH YOUR NEW CLOTHES BEFORE YOU WEAR THEM?

Do you ever? We decided to write this post because out mother never used to wash our clothes before letting us wear it. It is different now, of course. People, we don't know how many here, sometimes take 'bought in shop' or 'came in a plastic wrapper' as 'new and clean', we beg to differ.

Our belief of washing clothes after purchase and before we wear them, was reinforced by an episode of CSI. Yes, we are nerds. In that episode, the victim fell dead after wearing a stolen pair of designer jeans he bought, which was sitting in a truck full of pesticides. Yes, the chemical seethed into his skin through the pair of unwashed jeans.

You never know where that piece of clothing has been. From being sewn into garments in the factory where hygiene is probably questionable to being stacked and waiting for delivery in the open, to being stuffed into clean(?) container trucks to it being packed into plastic bags to ...etc. The journey continues through the country, through several hands. Do you really want to wear that garment before washing then? You can choose not to do it for yourself but please always wash baby garments!!!
