All you need is just some spoons or small dishes. This is what we concocted from our limited supplies.
From left to right:
- Chopped up anchovies on a mini bed of home-grown greens and a dash of balsamic vinegar.
- Perfectly boiled eggs with a dash of light soy sauce, truffle oil and chopped parsley.
- Pate on a slice of rock melon with blueberry and basil for garnish.
We proceeded with a summery tomato and sage soup with sauteed herbed crumbs and a dash of cream. The soup is served at room temperature which makes it more enjoyable in summer. This is followed by a Guinness beef stew served with a dash of cream and rice. And then fruits and yoghurt as a dessert.
A simple dinner made special with those little spoons.
