LIFE IS A JOURNEY, ARE YOU READY?

WE HATE HIGH HEELS, WHATEVER IS THE MATTER WITH FLATS?

We are never a fan of heels. Tried it, do not like it. We have a couple of pairs just for special occasions. Honestly, the special occasions are special because they are special for others, not for us. Anything special would mean comfort to us.

The hell with wearing heels. To begin with, we have small feet. We stand 174cm tall and have a UK5/Eur38/US7 sized feet. Our sister who is standing 163cm has the same feet. We grew up having ankle problems. We never feel very stable even just walking, so to think of walking on heels!

We recently hurt our left heel by walking on heels because we had to meet some clients and heels are apparently more 'formal'. Not by any chance in our world.

We have decided that the shoes we buy in future need to have bouncy soles. They need to cushion our steps. They need to be comfortable, They need to hold our feet properly and not to squeeze them into unshapely shoes that do not make sense at all. OK, the choice of shoes we have might cause our dressing to compromise a little but we pick safe and healthy feet and spine instead of vanity.

We love Campers, Clarks, Scholl, Ecco, Birkenstock and all orthopedic-friendly brands. What are yours?

i hate high heels as well, i remember the obligatory 2 inch heels during prom, it was so uncomfortable, i walked home barefoot.

i have weak knees, dislocated them twice so i am sticking with my flats/pumps. i love all things clarks as well plus my lone pair of hush puppies.

Timely post as i am rummaging through my old shoe boxes.
